Default Should I jump on this?

Found a 2007 vette on craigslist for 14k. I've never seen one that cheap on craigslist. They're all 20+k. This one does have slightly high mileage but it looks good. Talked to the guy and he seemd honest as well? How good of a deal is this? Good? Really good?

If you budget $ for repairs and maintenance then seems ok. Is this a track car or DD?

DD. Wouldn't you say this car is worth at least 17 or 18k?

Me too but why didn't you tell us just how high the mileage was? Also, service history? How many owners?

Jump. Just make sure your checking account has a couple grand in it for the unforseen.

I've never seen a C6 that low with a clean title. Wow even an 07, it's a helluva deal, I'd be surprised if someone didn't already ****** it up. I'd have guess it would go for around 18K

He must have used KBB to price it. As that is what I get running that car on there. $14,383 for excellent private party. However they usually go for more then that.

If he is local I'd go look at it if you were interested. I agree with the others, make sure you have some extra money incase anything needs fixing soon since you want to DD this.

(He must have used KBB to price it). I had a similar situation and jumped on it as fast as I could. You should do the same.

Run a Carfax. If clean title & the car is not beat, you may as well go for it if that is what you want.

I'm running over to Wausau right now to buy it. Just kidding. But I'm thinking it will take a few years from now before it will be worth less. And who knows if the prices go up on new ones maybe it will go up.

Sounds like a scam! He will probably want you to wire money and deliver the car to you by a fictitious company. There is a character out there that has a lot of pristine Corvettes, all models and very cheap. He was on the West Coast. He had a C3 split window he was trying to sell me for 27,000!

With 143k miles, the price seems about right.

If it's that many miles and in Wausau, WI it's been driven in the winter. The underbody etc is probably taken a beating from all the salt. I live up in the hellhole Green Bay, my 06 Taurus's underbody and body are destroyed by the salt. The body is probably good, but everything else maybe not.
