I'm still dumbfounded as how GM can sell more C7's each year than they produce, and have still have tons of them sitting unsold on dealer's lots.

I hope Tadge helps me with the math.

For GM to have sold 120,000 C7's 2014, 2015, 2016) they will have to sell All the left over 2015's on the dealer's lots plus GM will have to produce 50,472 2016's(and then sell them). Not going to happen.

2014--------37,288 produced
2015--------32,240 produced(and not all of them sold)
2016--------50,472 will have to be produced and sold (not going to happen).

Total-------120,000 produced and sold(LOL)

That is funny, as our club(51 memberships/couples for the most part, with around 75-80 Corvettes) we have only 7 or 8 C7's. In our club, the C6 is still the majority with the C5 being in second place.

Last week six of us went on a road trip to the Black Hills for a week. Two C5's, three C6's and one C7. Here we are in Spearfish Canyon.

Last year sales in the US were approximately 17 million. The percentage of vettes on the road is minuscule. No wonder you don't see many.
Yet, out of seven days and 2,500 miles of driving in a fairly remote part of the conus, we saw some eight or nine Corvettes, plus the six we were driving. Four C7's, eight C6's, two C5's, one C4, total.

Not bad out of 225 million registered vehicles, wouldn't you say.

What is rare, is the spotting of the 427 Cobra(not a Mustang) between Hill City, SD and Keystone, SD..

As I type this my Z06 sits in the garage dirty won't wash for another week. I drive mine but if there is no parking we take the SS sedan. I park away from where I'm going and walk need the excerise at 72. I hate washing the Corvette because I'm so **** about things over hour to clean wheels plus hour to wash dry. I try not to drive in rain but the song Rainy nite in Ga. Should give you an idea of how often it rains. Plus all the red mud on roads from new subdivision construction.

I see at least 1 or 2 or more a day from May through October here in Plymouth Massachusetts especially on the waterfront strip near Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower Ship.

No problem here. There are at least 6 other Vette's that I drive by on my way out of the neighborhood (130 homes in the entire development). Have approx 80-100 members in our local Corvette club and it's common to have 30+ cars going out to lunch, dinner or other club events.

I've not had a drive around town yet that I remember where I didn't see another Vette with a majority of them waving.
