If traction continues to be a problem, think about a progressive controller to soften the hit and then give it full boggie a few hundred RPM in. You could also throw in an Interceptor, that way you could run max timing in both cases (Spray & No spray) without hurting the engine.

man that's awesome, you're going to love it! That I've heard good things about the B3 cam too. I assuming you're going with a plate kit? Are you running a stand alone fuel cell for the nitrous? With those diamond pistons you could spray a 200shot but probably need a progressive controller at that point.

Believe it or not, most guys are hooking fine spraying in first on a 100-150shot on a well prepped track. Any more than that then I'd agree a progressive ramp would be very necessary.

The nitto invo's are brand new and i wish i hadn't gottem them now just because they can't handle that kind of power very well at all. I'll have to find a set of drag radials that are good for the street. But it's a hell of a lot of fun!
Bump it up.....

So, a little dumb question... So say you're rolling in 2nd on the streets of Mexico window switch is on. You punch it at 3k and at 3500 it activates and your reaching the cut off rpm and you shift to 3rd... So my question is once you shift the nitrous doesn't come on again? For the rest of the run every gear after that your running on straight engine?

It just sound like from this post it's constantly spraying in the rpms the window switch is set for.

It is constantly spraying in the set rpm range. the nitrous is controlled by throttle position at 100%. so the peddle has to be on the floor for the nitrous to engage on this setup. once I shift in to 3rd, as long as it's a full throttle then nitrous is engaged. that's for this set up.

There are other controllers out there that allow you to do other fun things like progressive ramp, gear lockout, etc.

Just wondering what the nitrous kit cost you along with installation and tuning. Your set up is close to what I have in mind for my 08 z.

Man it's been ages I can't even remember. I can try to find an old invoice but want to say like $2000 maybe with all the parts, install, and tune.
