Default Show us your NO or LOW COST HOME MADE do it yourself stuff

I was surfing on the Jeep Forum and they have a sticky thread called "Show us your home made Jeep stuff"
And I was just curious of how many NO or LOW cost mods there are out there that have not been shared.

Here is one of my entries........The gutter guard Cove Vent Trick. I Went to Home Depot and picked up a piece of the metal mesh gutter guard for $1.89
and a two part epoxy setup for $3.98.
Took the wheels off, loosened up the inner fender. Made a template out of cardboard then cut the gutter guard with a pair of tin snips.
Bent the mesh into the correct position, test fitted then painted it satin black. I used some type of double sided sticky stuff to hold the piece in place until I could get it epoxied. I used the 5 minute set up epoxy, so it set quick and hard in place. I think they turned out great.

I have 100 white LED's and 100 resistors on the way from Hong Kong for $7 shipped.... I'm replacing all of the bulbs in the dash to "white" LED lights. I'm shooting for a really clean look and getting rid of the yellow bulb light behind all the buttons. Pics not ready cause I'm not done yet though. My wife is just glad its an inexpensive mod...

I assume that you painted the vette logo on the underhood blanket?
