I have taken some but they need to be cleaned up and watermarked. I will have them soon, however, the are the same clear tail lights you would see on any C7 Z06.

I will more than likely ship Monday. We purchased new boxes to ship both tail lights in their boxes for added protection so we are ready to rock.

A question for you, Gene: Since the Z06's lenses are clear, I assume that the LEDs / bulbs that produce the lighting (for tail and brake lights) are red. Is the same true for the Stingray's bulbs / LEDs? I'd have thought that on the Stingray the LEDs / bulbs would be white; if that's the case, we'd have to switch to red ones if installing the clear Z06 lenses. Am I missing something here?

LED bulbs don't have to be the color of the light that they produce.
For instance the bulb can be clear and still produce a red light. That is the case with these lights pretty much. I think they're lined with small led bulbs which are clear but when lit appear red. That's how they're able to pull off the design with no red reflector in the lamps.

Yes, I understand that. What I meant was do the Stingray LEDs put out red light or white? I'm guessing white. If that's the case, those swapping for Z06 lenses will also need to swap out the LEDs. Or do the lenses that Gene is selling already include the LEDs?

The Z06 lights will already have the proper led's inside. I'm pretty sure these lights are sealed assemblies, not meant to be opened. They're not simply different colored lenses. You would simply remove the stock Stingray tails, then install the Z06 tails.

Curious why GM would charge for cores? Do the recycle used Stingray tail lights and then resell them as new replacements?

This post is correct. The tail lights are complete and ready to install. Unplug, plug in.

I don't know the answer to this question. GM even has a core on the base Stingray tail lights. In the last 1-2 years GM has implemented a lot of core charges on a lot of different items.

The tail lights are easy swap, just need to loosen up the rear bumper.

He's taking pictures of the lights and those photos need to be watermarked for his business purposes.
