Default Base C6 GM Susp Upgrade - C6 Z51 Sway Bars - C6 Z06 Shocks - At CULTRAG Performance!

2013 C6 Z51 Sway Bars!

Greetings Friends,

We have the Z51 sway bars kit with the Genuine GM bushings for $257.95

The reason people use these bars most on the C5’s and the C6’s is because unless you’re running 325 width tires in the rear, these are the way to go. These bars don’t cause the vehicle to ride “stiffer” per se. They are mostly for the cornering ability.

You know that feeling when you’re going into the turn and the car leans pretty heavily? These bars are meant to make the vehicle feel flatter in the turns and corner much better in the turns. Another advantage is the handling when you’re coming out of the turn. When you come out of the turns you will not be fighting the wheel as much as you would with the stock bars. These bars, since they’re thicker, make it easier all the way through the turns.

Below are the specifications and comparisons of the C6 Z51 sway bars compared to other Corvette suspension packages.

Corvette Sway Bar Specifications

Suspension Front (mm) Rear(mm)

C5 base 23.0 19.1
C5Z51 (97-99) 25.4 21.7
C5Z51 (00-04) 28.6 23.6
C5Z06 30.0 23.6
C6 base 25.5 17.5
C6Z51 31.0 25.4
C6Z06 31.0 28.0

We offer these sway bars with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks. Also, whether it is a C5 or C6, coupled with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks it makes a total different handling package. This package speaks for itself as we have many testimonials from many customers from whom we sold these to here on the forum!

To order, please call 484-334-8833 or go to the link below to order!

10339124 – Rear stabilizer bar
10387838 – Front stabilizer bar bushings (2)
15241135 – Rear stabilizer bar bushings (2)

Complete kit front and rear is $257.95
Use part number c6z51bars on our website.

2013 C6 Z06 Shocks!

We sell the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks for $309.95. Many C5 customers ask us why we don’t recommend the 2004 shocks over the 2013. Many people also say that the C6 shocks are only developed for the C6. If you look at all of the basic suspension components between the C5 and C6, they are very much the same. The reason we don’t recommend the 2004 Z06 shocks over the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks is simply because of the price and customer feedback. We have many customers who have tried both sets of shocks and cannot tell the difference between the two, so why not purchase the lesser expensive set!

For the C5, not C5 Z06, we also recommend the C6 Z51 sway bar kit. The C6 Z51 sway bar kit coupled with the 2013 C6 Z06 shocks is our most popular suspension and handling upgrade for the C5.

To order, please call 484-334-8833 or go to the link below to order!

||--Genuine GM 2013 C6 Z06 Shocks--||

10313647 – Z06 Front Shocks
25819268 – Z06 Rear Shocks

Both sets of front and rear shocks (4) $309.95 total.
For the shocks on our website, use part number c6z06shocks.

The C6 Z06 shocks will work on stock C5’s and C6’s without modification.

Thank you,
Gene.

I do not have PM's turned on. Please follow the link on the website and you can use your zip code at that time to calculate exact shipping costs.

Do you still sell the service manuals for a 07 Z06? If so how much? I didn't see it on your website. Thanks

No, I'm sorry we don't. The prices were volatile and constantly changing and the service we received was horrible resulting in unhappy customers so I am done.

Just placed an order for the Z51 sway bars. Great price on the sway bars, but a bit disappointed in the shipping costs.

I believe this was a California, opposite coast order. At any rate, regardless of the location, the box size is 48x10x10 and 21 lbs. You're welcome to type that information into FedEx or UPS to get the rate, as that's what our website does.

Performance wise they would be the same but GM did some tweaks over the years to improve upon them from a quality standpoint. Other than that the only difference is in an 08 the rears are completely revised

Received and installed these Z51 sway bars in my 2005 base Vette. Boy are these beefy as compared to the base bars (especially the rear). Zero install issues. Haven't done any spirited driving to notice the difference as I am waiting a few days to confirm everything is solid.

I'd get the Z06 shocks, but have the F55 suspension and don't wanna mess with that.

You are correct. I've bought larger/heavier (i.e., full exhaust systems, headers, coilovers, etc.) from some vendors who some how charge much less. I am sure the profit margin is low on this item so I have no problem paying a higher shipping cost. Thanks!

You are correct in your assumption. On most of the header, full exhausts, coilovers, etc., they have MAP pricing and you are not allowed to sell below that but you can offer free shipping. And since there is normally a 40% to 50% markup on those items and many are drop ships it is very easy to do so and make a large profit without touching the item.

However, when we offer something like this and it is already at volume pricing we're not able to give the shipping away.

We are good.

May pursue the Z06 shocks. Would need to first look into doing the F55 delete with a Tech II.

Yes, you could go that route or you could get the F55 shock simulators from one of the aftermarket vendors. Also could get a resistor and just put it in the system to trick the system into thinking the electronic shocks are there. Basically the same the shock simulators do.

I would rather just delete it completely. Just need to find a competent Chevy tech to do so.

Can I anticipate the Z06 shocks being more aggressive/raw than the F55 shocks in sport mode? I am not looking for a comfortable ride; I want to feel the road and have a more competitive setup.

Yes, they Z06 shocks are very much more aggressive than the F55 shocks. You'll definitely have a more competitive setup.

I just did!

Figured I'd better put the better Z51 bars on my 2004 CE/F55 Vette since I was doing new brake rotors/pads in a few weeks. They should make my F55 work a lot better in turns, like they did on my 99 C5.
