Default Who else has TPW of 2/16?!

rcooper had the idea to make this thread since several of us have a TPW of 2/16.

I have an AW z51 1LT with that TPW, I ordered from a dealer in Wilmington NC.

So? Who else?

This will be a nice place to moan and groan while waiting for our cars lol, and after we get them we can all post pics!

It would be interesting if anyone is near by or traveling nearby, I am right off of I95.

Shouldn't it be 2/9? At least that's what the posted constraint report shows? Otherwise I'm pushed back a week

Called the salesman to verify TPW after I chatted with customer service and he said the same week. Also asked him if he knew how long after build will the car be delivered and he said usually 2 to 3 weeks, but he's had a car built on a Monday and delivered by Wednesday before!

Hey guys and gals...I'm thinking spring road trip. Maybe joining up somewhere that is easy to get to and look at each others new C7's. What do you all think. We should all have our cars by mid March and this would be a good way to meet some forum folk and see the country....and break in our new babies.
Also, I have a similar thread that I asked a mod to kill so that 10mm's thread will stay active as the 2/16 date.
I have a surgery scheduled for 3/12 and will need a couple of weeks to recoup. Pesky cancer got me, prostate. Doc said 85% recovery rate so I am going to need a getaway and a couple of beers! Would love to do a weekend run toward the end of March, first of April.

Sorry to hear about your cancer. Got a neighbor and another friend both dealing with the same issue. The neighbor is doing great. The other friend is still trying to decide which treatment regimen he want to follow. Will be praying for you as you deal with this.

As for a road trip, that sounds like a good idea. I would throw out the idea of meeting at the NCM Bash in April. I was planning to make that trip anyway and it is about as centrally located to all of us as we can probably come up with.

Thanks for the prayers! Much appreciated. I struggled with the options and thought that the surgery would be easiest, not having to go for radiation for 45 days. Lots of time involved, and a little more costly, same end results. Although having it taken out seemed better than having it cooked in your body. Ending up with a prune just hanging around!
The bash would be cool, never been , have always wanted to do that. Would guess getting lodging might be tough at the bash. If enough are interested and we got it together soon enough might be able to get a travel agent to co-ordinate it for us, or William Shatner.

I have confidence you will kick that cancers ***!!

I am going to title my car in Ohio so I need to drive it from NC up north to have the inspection done within 30 days of my delivery, so if anyone is on or near I77 between Winston Salem NC and Akron Ohio I would be glad to meet up.

Am I the only one who CAN'T WAIT????

Just contacted GM cust serv via chat. Car went 3000 status on 1/20 for TPW of 2/16... So I'll be taking the journey with you guys. I was confident we'll be 2/9, but apparently not. Oh well! They seem to be building them a week ahead of schedule anyways, so we'll see what happens!
