Default New wheels 21x12.5" rear with 375mm Pirelli

Today's feature is my C7 427 with the brand new PUR RS05.MV2 the guys at PUR did custom for my Vette. It was their first 2pc wheel with hidden hardware and a gloss black diamond outer and chrome bronze inner although you can't really see that unless you're looking for it, it turned out to be a cool subtle touch. Keeping them clean will be another story I'm sure

PUR RS05. MV2
20x10
21x12.5
Gloss Black Diamond centers
Chrome Bronze inners

They're a wild wheel, but they work for me on this ride

The end

Matches the car perfectly. Why didn't they do a 13 inch wheel in the back?

Thx fellas!

I had 19x13s on it before with MPSS 345s which are more square but x13s with this Pirelli 375 look too stretched. The contour of the sidewall is already angled due to the tire protector and short sidewall. The x12.5 fits it very well as a x12.5 is 13.5" wide and the Pirelli 375 is a 14.4" wide tire (really a 365mm) and thus leaving about 11mm of bulge on each side to keep the tire shape a little better IMO.

Are they symmetric?

Edit: looks like they are if the pic above is showing a passenger side wheel.

Yes, they are properly directional on both sides!

I do not like busy wheels or directional wheels. These are not for me.

Ben,

i actually like your new wheel and tire combo and that is unusual for me preferring smaller wheels with more sidewall.

after all, i did get those 18x12 Forgelines from you!

Sent you a PM, only have 3 sets left after pending 20/21" orders. I bought the last place out, but if I see they get some more, I'll tip you off.

Yes sir you did! Did you go up to the 335s yet or are you running out the 315s first? Get me pics when you can!

Very nice...those are the FIRST aftermarket wheels that I've seen on the C7 that I actually prefer over the factory rims.
