I always get my exhaust coated and now offering it to the community. I can have them done in black or silver like mine

Whew, that's cool in more than one meaning! I should have done something like that as well (for my C6 Z06).
Is your X-pipe coated inside and out?

Does it ever make the any car louder?

From my understanding the heat meeting the air is what produces a lot of the sound we hear and since the coated exhaust tubing is now transferring the heat out the rear rather than radiating it under the car I would think theoretically it would be slightly louder

Cool. That was always a theory of mine, but was never able to test it by hearing a non coated system first to compare it to.

I worked for a hot rod restoration shop where we would tig an entire system up from scratch and then just immediately send it off to JetHot.

Since headers are stainless steel I'm thinking about making a bolt in deal from oem manifolds to mid pipe with no cats

Your thoughts on wrapping the x-pipe with header wrap? I will be getting the Borla x-pipe and have thought of doing this just to control the heat from the tunnel & floor. Since the wrap is supposed to control the heat even more that the coating I wonder what that would do to the sound?

do the coating when doing the inside it also helps exhaust flow faster out which in turn helps performance.

Lets guess ~10hp, better throttle response, and losing heat!

(A good MOD I have on my car, but, mine is wrapped!)

what is the heat resistance on the ceramic coating?,I would be interested in a similar setup (black coat) instead of silver. Do you plan to do the manifolds/catpipes inside out , does it need any cleaning or prepping?
Is there any heat-cure cycle to follow immediately after coating.
This will definitely help in lower hood temperatures as the coating will act like an insulator, not sure how much stress it would add to the metal itself.
please bear with me for asking so many questions

Good up to 2500 degrees.

I will be porting my manifolds and doing them along with the cat pipes.

No heat cycle just put it on and go

Very nice! I'm wishing I would have gotten my Borla X-pipe coated. I'm tempted to pull it off and get it done now!

Very nice! I am tempted to pull mine off this winter sometime and get it coated. Great to see a vendor offering this.
