Callaway, Lingenfelter or Henessey
Each of these companies have major upgrades to the ZO6. Price varies greatly. Callaway close to 20 thousand, Hennessey has 2 upgrades 14 and 19 thousand. Lingenfelter 4 thousand. Each will produce very close to the same hp except Henessey which has the 800 hp option. Which would you choose?

I would go callaway or LPE. Not a hennessey fan at all! Preferably Callaway if money isn't an issue as you get to keep your warranty plus you will recoup some of the package value when you sell your car.

I've done biz with two of them. Both good shops I recommend. No way in "H"ell I would do biz with the other.

With Callaway, you keep your Chevy warranty and you get a larger blower which will reduce heat generated since the blower isn't spun as much. Lingenfelter has a great package for the price, but for a couple hundred bucks, you can get about the same amount of power from just a Halltech intake (Lingenfelter does warranty the car for a year though). Hennessey packages tend to be pricey tbh.

I have no experience with Callaway.......the only complaint I've ever heard about them is that they're "pricey" - but apparently, you've already found that out !! Lingenfelter's reputation is virtually untarnished as well.
The other.........well......I won't cast aspersions, but I've heard some extremely frightening stories from both Vette and Viper owners !!
Good luck.......and @ $4K (vs. $20K) especially, LPE is well worth looking into !!

Callaway
I went Callaway because of the significant gains that are left on the table with their system. So much more headroom to work with the look has grown on me

The GM warranty is just that the GM warranty. Is in no way shape form or fashion tied into any of the companies mentioned. Been there done that--read the warranty statements CAREFULLY and you will see. Or contact GM in writing and see what they will tell you!
Common for people to misunderstand this so do not feel bad.

Dave, your right but it appears Callaway has done/is doing everything they can to make warranty experience totally seamless from the customers point of view. My car is an a8, I fully expect my flywheel will rattle and or I may have other common issues with the car, not related to Callaway and I expect my dealer will handle it. They have even visited Ross Downing about being a dealer for them (my selling dealer). I don't think your going to find this type of service anywhere. These people did not just wake up yesterday and start doing this....

I went with Callaway (and about to get my car back WOO-HOO!) because of the warranty that runs WITH the factory warranty, runs cooler than a Z06, and the fact that if I ever sold it I could recoup more of my money. Generally, SC580 or SC606 Callaway Vettes are holding their value better than Z06s or ZR1s of the same vintage.
Plus, I've wanted a Callaway since the Aerobody days when I was a kid. Now that I am in the position to buy one, in a few days, an SC627 will be in the garage.
That said, since my dad has an '09 Z06 and he doesn't like forced induction, so I told him that he should go to Lingenfelter since he wants more power and Callaway won't work with a car with over 5K miles.
The other? Well, I say go with the home team. Callaway and Lingenfelter have been working with Corvettes for what, three decades? Can't beat experience!

I think education is up to the individual, not the forum necessarily. As said, two of the named shops have good reputations and one has a long history. But with anything, it's not what you hear, it's what actually happens that counts. And a lot of good things have happened with the first two mentioned.
