What I did for my side skirts is used the already drilled holes in skirts with the oem placed screws. Three in the front, two in the back. Then I used U clips to secure them underneath to the frame. I then used 1 poprivet on the back part that sticks out some just because that was the only place it really didn't sit flush. Removing one poprivet is easy stuff...did it once already matter of fact when I had to remove the tape.
Some use poprivets on all spots you can put them.

For the side skirts there is a few ways to do it. I would not suggest using tape. You'll see it and the gap it makes. I tried it.

Melting Slicks
I used the 3M tape to attach my skirts with no gaps. I'm not sure where CDH76 placed his tape to get a gap? I guess if you placed it where the rivets go it might make a gap. I put my tape on the very bottom of rocker, under the car as well as the 5 OEM screws.

Here is a better shot of the CF. I also have the carbonflash package, badges, spoiler, etc but I just wanted a touch of CF too.

CF is nice but sometimes its hard to tell it's even CF until you are up close. I think the black will mesh better with the overall look of the carbonflash you have on your car. You really cannot go wrong either way though so personal preference there.
