Back home from the NCM, what a trip!
I just completed my trip from the NCM where I picked up my 2016! The experience was the best, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
I picked up my car on Monday the 11th and spent about 5 hours at the NCM and BG, afterward I dropped off my car in Nashville to be wrapped in XPEL Ultimate. I got it back on Friday the 15th completely covered in XPEL (full car), and drove back Saturday to Michigan.
While waiting for my car I stayed with a friend and his wife in the Nashville area and enjoyed some seriously good BBQ and Hot Chicken!
Of course this thread wouldn't be complete without a barrage of pics. Here they are, taken after the initial oil change, a wash, and some Z-AIO polish (Z-2 and Z-5 will go on next weekend!)
My original ordering thread is here -> https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...y-finally.html

For this car I'm going to keep the Mods light, so far I have the following "add-ons"
Stingray Underhood Liner (NCM Installed!)
XPEL Ultimate (the whole car!) topped off with OptiCoat Pro Plus and Zaino polish
Weather Tech Floor and Cargo Liners
Front and Rear Splash Guards
Chrome License Plate Frame
Blend Mount and Mirror Tap
Chrome Wheel Locks
Jacking Pucks
Green Filter
CAGS Override
"Stage 2" Side Skirts and Front Splitter
I think I'm keeping this car mostly stock. I'm quite happy with a lot of the new factory options versus my 2008!

Congrads on your new ride. Very nice looking car. I actually watched you take delivery at the museum on the web came. I was bored at work and just happen to log in when you were fooling with something on the drivers side floor boards. I assume by your post you were laying down your weather techs. Enjoy your new ride.

Been looking at that avatar for quit a while, glad the C7 finally came. Had an LS3-Z51 plate for my C6 and got this one for the C7 (someone in SC has had Z51 by itself!)
Could care less if most folks have no idea what it means and that it doesn't look like a custom plate. My Street Rod has ZZ502 (GM designation of that crate engine) and I get told at car shows that they like "ZZ Tops" as well!
SC Custom Plate is Recessed in Black Perimeter Metal Frame. Meets State Law.
