When will tops be available for 2016 models?

How can one tell the difference between a pre augur 14, 2015 and a later model?

I would like one for my 2016 Z.

We do not know when they will be available at this time. There are some brackets on the top that should be different. That is it. We'd have to get them side by side and take a look to make certain, when available.

Have you seen this backorder situation before? If so, did it last long? I broke another top (the one I bought from you) and will need another soon for my 2015 C7 Stingray. LOL.

We have seen backorders on items like this in the past however every one is different and cant be used as a basis to estimate time on another. Depending on what is broken and needed we may be able to get you replacement parts. I do know the main assemble (glass/frame) is available to order and you could just transfer your other components. Man, we're getting close to fall now. Is there any word out there if GM has just stopped production completely, or if this is expected to be a long-term thing?

I'm a little bummed that GM would leave owners of 2015 models dealing with parts obsolescence issues already. Not a good look at all. I bought this car 9 months ago, and I'm already out of luck on replacement parts? Yikes. I wish they'd at least let customers know what's going on rather than keeping everyone in the dark.

You can still buy the tops as all individual pieces but they are very expensive that way. Only the complete drop in kits are currently not available
