The GS thread has attracted a ton of attention, since the initial posting.
There has been a lot of input, lots of suggestions of what Corvette owners like and dislike.
The question now araises.....

Nope! GS is kinda ugly to me. I can't stand the side vents and spoiler. And it only comes with "wanna be" z06 side skirts (useless to me)... If I wanted skirts with a stage 1 splitter, I'd STILL have to buy after market ones. Lack of winter tires/all seasons don't help either.
Now I do like the wide body and the rear bottom brake duct vents, but I don't think it's worth all the trouble just for that when I can just buy a 2017 z51 and essentially get the same look/performance for less money. Maybe one day, an aftermarket vendor will come up with a way to mod on the rear brake vents on the z51.

There isn't enough there to entice me, but I have a 2016, so I'm happy.

If you had asked me this question in 2010, I would have said yes to the GS, which I did.
Loved the performance/tech improvements the C6 delivered over the C5, but wasn't crazy about the C6 styling, until... The C6 Z06. The Z wide body really jazzed up the C6. Couldn't afford a Z, so when the GS was offered in 2010, had to have it.
Today... The C7 Stingray styling is so good, I don't think the wide-body adds much. Not as a dramatic difference as with the C6.
So, respect the new C7 GS, but not feeling any need to trade my '16 Z51.

I have a 15 Z06. Went down Fri. to order the 17 GS. Couldn't bring myself to do it and ended up ordering the 16 Z06.
