How old are C7 owners?

How old are C7 owners?
So as I'm inching closer to getting a C7, I wonder how I will fit into the family. Most Corvette owners I see are usually older men, but with the updated styling and interior, is there a younger demographic? Being 25, I'd love to have some peers with the same car to hang with.

And of course I understand that older guys get Vette's because it's not really affordable for younger people and also known as an older mans dream car, but there are a ton of kids nowadays that get $60k+ cars (benz's, bmw's, etc) so I'd hope some younger guys would venture to the C7 as I am

As a car it's not practical if you have kids and is better suited as a recreational vehicle than your main source of transportation. There's a reason why so many Corvettes 5-10 years old have few miles on them, and not many in the 20-40 year old range will tie up a spot in the garage when the minivan needs to be stored.

You are going to find that Corvette's are like most two seat reasonably pricey ($50-100k) sports cars (Mercedes SL, Jaguar F-Type, Porsche 911 and Cayman/Boxster, BMW Z4, etc) are generally too expensive for the under 25 crowd, and not very practical as a primary car for those who are married with homes and/or kids, which leaves those people who: either can afford a Corvette as an extra weekend car - which is mostly people over age 40; or are beyond the practical car family phase - which is mostly people over age 50.
Young people love Corvette's, but then reality sets in - they just can't come to terms with spending $60k+ on one.
Glad you are joining the club at 25 - I bought my first Corvette, a 6 year old used C3 at age 22; and yes even then it was a weekend only car.

Don't worry about age! I bought a Honda Goldwing (when I was 39), which is a notoriously knows as an 'old man's' bike. Truth be told, it's much like the C7, it's very fast when it needs to be, and a great touring machine! I'd roll around with AC\DC blaring on the stereo and turn heads because everyone expected to hear Frank Sinatra! Buy it, enjoy it, don't sweat the 'age' thing!

I think the poll will show your age group with the fewest number of owners, so there won't be many of your peers with a C7, but look on the bright side, you'll be the cool guy with the Vette. 😀

Think young! Just don't act young. All of us that own C7's are young thinkers. The design of the car requires that.
There are a few here that may not post on your poll who are young, and I see younger people driving the Corvette daily.
As for the kid thing, unless you are sterile it could happen...
My suggestion is buy it, forget about the age thing, if you have no problem with the cost and it doesn't eat up future investment opportunities, then get it, enjoy it and move on.
Oh, and be ready for the "banking crew" who will post about your financial state and be certain to say that if you can't pay cash...etc, etc,etc...

My first thought whenever I buy a car. What are the ages of the other owners so I can hang out with them. Sure would not want to be sterotyped, these post are just plain stupid.
If you have the money then buy what you want, and just stay away from those "old people".
