Can the C7 Z51 be used as a daily driver?
I live in New England and I know how the weather can be at any given moment. I would like to have just one car and hopefully a C7. Anyone drive the C7 in the snow with snow tires? If it's above ground clearance I'll just work from home. I'm single so I don't have worry about driving people around plus majority of the time I only drive with one person if anyone.

Ground clearance is an issue unless you want to be a snow plow.

If you have snow tires, just a bit of common sense, and leave the car in weather mode, I'd say you'll do better than most others other than 4WD
As far as the ground clearance, C7 is higher than both C5 and C6 were, so you should be good in up to 2" of fresh powder, maybe 2.5" if you remove the front rubber vent gizmos.
I haven't researched winter tires for the C7 yet, so can't help you there. I still have my C6 GS set that I need to see if they'll fit on my C7 Z51.

Other than different tires I can't see any reason you couldn't make it on most days. Oh, and I am originally from Mass. There will be some days, of course, when it will be difficult, if not impossible.

I would be more worried about the other drivers. The sight of a car sliding towards me at a stoplight is not a pretty view.

you should be able to make it on most days. But there will be those days where the snow might be little deep.
I have thought about winter driving my corvette a lot. but when it comes winter i typically store it.

Like above ground clearance during a heavy snow is the only worry, other than that put snow tires on it and you'll be extremely surprised how well it gets around.

If the other drivers don't get you, the salt, sand, and road chems probably will.
To that end, a winter beater would not be a bad idea.
After a number of years trying to shoehorn things into my C5 that should not have been in it in the first place, I bought a used SUV.
Does better in snow, too.
Carried on the tradition with the C7.

The Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires are only good down to 40 degrees. change to an All Season tire.

Ground clearance would be an issue on snow covered roads, put quality winter tires and drive smoothly. You got a lot of power and torque under the right foot add wet or icy conditions and nothing good will come out of it if your too hard on steering/braking/acceleration, like any other car out there just amplified in a sports car.
