Another Huron Speed Twin Turbo Build!
Good Morning Everyone!
Wanted to jump right in here and start this thread off, after some long discussions with Jon over at Huron Speed I decided to come aboard with this kit. The design looks great and I am ready to really lean on it.
My previous build was a 408/YSI setup that consistently made great power and was ultra reliable. The engine was worn out and it was time to retire that engine and move onto bigger and better things.
New build will consist of the following:
427 LSX with Mast 285 LS7 Heads.
Huron Speed Twin Turbo Kit with Precision 68/70 Gen 2 Turbos.
Those involved with this build know who you are and without you this would not have been possible. I will wait till the conclusion of this project to give thanks to all involved because I do not want to miss a single person that has helped on this journey.
The car currently sits as a empty shell on the lift awaiting the completion of its new power plant and turbo system.
Endless engine **** to follow in upcoming weeks!

The hot side will ship this week I am told. The kit was not designed around 6 bolt heads from my understanding so there is a clearance issue with the drivers side rear most primary and the 6th bolt boss. That primary will need to be reworked before the install can begin and although I can do that myself, I have a friend on board that is far more skilled in manifold design that is going to take care of it for me.
I am told that all my stuff from Precision and turbosmart has been ordered and should drop ship directly.
Engine block is still being machined and should be assembled by this weekend.
Once everything is in my hands, this build should go together pretty quick. My goal is to have this thing running and down in Bowling Green in September for LS Fest. Have not missed a year yet, don't want to start now.

Crank, rods, and Pistons set in place to check actual piston to deck clearance and parts stack height verified prior to cutting the deck.
