Default Those who are pulling (crankcase pressure) from both valve covers

Getting ready to install a set of Holley valve covers....want to pull crankcase pressure of both banks. What (AN) fitting size are people using? Welded or tapped in?

1/2" barb welded. That way no fittings, or anything. Hose just pushes on.

If you're buying coated/painted covers, just drill and tap

They are (crinkle black color). Are the Holley valve covers baffled?

Yes they are baffled but the baffles don't go the full length of the cover, so just don't be dumb like me. Drilled a hole to weld and then noticed it wasn't behind the baffle. So welded it shut, then move it over to behind the baffle.

I don't care about looks so this is my crap box.

I used -8 from each of my covers. Each goes to its own catchcan with a vent

Do you happen to have an underside pic of that tap?

No. Wouldn't be able to see anything anyways as it is under the baffle.

On the topic of using Holley covers, does anyone know if the new Tall Holley covers, will clear the alternator? Also does the billet tech offer more clearance than the stocker?

Doubt it, considering the normal holley covers don't clear the alternator.

Billet tech offers a pinch more clearance.

Ground down the coil part until it fit. The boss for the coil hit the alt.

Thanks Unreal. Is there a way to space the alt on the top mount to make it clear? Just a thought as I d rather not grind
