Maybe they decided to stop building C7's with manual transmissions, and constraining them to zero is how GM plans to accomplish this?

guys, it's worth the wait!! Haven't you read some of us guys that know why it's constrained but can't tell any of you schleps anything except, its worth the wait????

PS remember, it's NOT a transmission change per se...

I just have to ask again, what's the big secret? If it is being made better then why can't we know what it is? For those of us who have actually placed orders, don't we have a right to know?

All of the secrecy is very annoying for those who are waiting as well as for those of us who try to make a living by selling these cars. I also have a friend who knows the answer but is sworn to secrecy. It makes no sense to me. Grrrr.

I am new to this so I apologize for not understanding where to ask:


I am waiting for my '17 order (Yellow Stingray) to be picked up (1100 now) and the dealer just told me the Z51 body color spoiler is on constraint so he asked me if I wanted to drop the spoiler to expedite the order - anyway for me to get an idea of how long I would wait if I opt to keep it on the order?

Just got an update from my dealer: "It's not on constraint they just simply aren't accepting orders with that spoiler right now. I don't know if it is an option that they are going to delete and haven't reflected that on the consumer site yet or if it is just simply not available with that color. The order website doesn't indicate -- it lets you physically click the spoiler option but then it sits in the bank with a specification error saying the spoiler is not available."


Anyone know what that means? I cannot believe I cannot get the spoiler!
