Default BASE C6 wheel suggestions please!

Decided to get a set of aftermarket wheels, but having trouble deciding on what to get for my Cyber Gray BASE.

Under $1k shipped. I know there are AWESOME wheels that are more, but I am not looking to spend a small fortune on wheels at this time.

Looking for a nice set of wheels in 18'' front and 19'' rear that will handle stock tire sizes. I do not plan on going widebody ever. A good offset rim would be nice that would not require spacers.

NO black wheels considered. I just don't like black wheels.

I might consider chrome or black but do not prefer those 2 colors unless I see some that wow me on a cyber gray. Leaning towards gray or a silver.

I was leaning towards the common Nurbrugring's, c7 z06 repros and c6 zr1 repros.

Suggestions please!

Pictures to give you an idea:

Nurburgrings in Matte Gunmetal:

Z06 but you get the idea c6 zr1 wheels:

Also suggestions on where and who to order from for the best deals?

Thanks guys so much!

Gunmetal C7 z06 repro wheels would look killer IMO! You can get them in stock fitment from many vendors. Check eBay or I bought my black Z06 wheels from Florida Speed.

I think the first and third ones look best-- but every once in awhile you can find a great deal on the parts section of the forum.

My coupe is machine silver with chrome Z06 repro wheels . .

Good luck

Here's a pic of the C7 z06 repro wheels from Florida Speed. They are around $650 I think on their website.

I did Ace Slick wheels. They are 1 inch wider than your stock wheels and clear Z06 brakes should you ever want to change out your brakes. (9.5"x18 front and 11"x19 rear)

Your current tires will work with these wheels and later you can go to slightly wider tires if you want too.

My car with HYPERBLACK (really silver as far as looks):

Funny, I have that picture saved on my desktop. I keep eyeing them along with other good ones I find before I bite the bullet. Wheels are a huge choice for me, don't want something that looks like *** and pretend I like it.

Thanks but no thanks, those wheels look too stock for me. I would rather have my factory wheels over those IN MY OPINION.

Those Ace Slick wheels look nice, with them being 1" wider do they fit flush with the fender or do they stick some, any shots from the front and back.

Thanks

I checked out their site, they have an good selection. I just wish prices would be posted.

This guy has good deals but he is hard to get a hold of. He doesn't return emails and that is the only way to contact him. http://www.1stratecorvetteparts.com/...on_Wheels.html

They do look awesome, especially on that blue. Love the c6 zr1 multi spoke design. Not sure how well a chrome wheel will look on my cyber gray though.

That is true. I just think they are a bit too plain. They are just too simple for a c6. I believe there are better options out there. But I have seen my wheels in competition gray on a cyber gray and they do look better.

Well all I can say is that your on the right track with not wanting black wheels. Who wants a Corvette that looks like it's riding on 4 spare tires ??........and good luck in your choice.
