2008 still gets compliments
Giving it a quick detail and received 2 compliments in the last 10 minutes
by neighbors walking dogs. However, the one I never would have expected happened a few weeks ago. I was passing an apartment complex that is not exactly high rent when the most unlikely guy gave me a thumbs up!

Do mustang owner's wave at each other?

If they do, their arms would wear out, because you can't spit w/o hitting one.

No. Mustang owners are mostly jerks, and I say this as a guy who's owned 7, and still have an '87 GT! LOL
It's interesting to note though, the older the Mustang, the friendlier the comments are.
I love my 2008 Vette, but I get probably double the thumbs up, waves, questions, and overall good vibes when I'm driving my Foxbody.
You just don't see too many left on the road!
Maybe they're just all hoping that I make it home without breaking down!

I think there is a correlation to geography. North Scottsdale is an exotic car haven. I can take a five minute drive from my home in any direction and pretty much guarantee I'll see at least a Ferrari, and/or Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Jaguar, at least two or three Vettes (in five minutes) BMWs and MBs are more numerous than Chevys and Fords. Just yesterday, saw a BMW I8 on Pima Blvd.
It's hard to even get Vette owners to waive anymore, much less get a thumbs up from anyone at a stop light. Vettes are pretty "low rent" in my area, but I cherish my C6 just the same.
