What are the top 3 performing exhaust for the c6? I'm buying one soon and want to start researching sound clips for different brands.

I have a Billy Boat NPP catback on my 05' C6 with a set of Hinson longtubes. I think it sounds pretty great. (even without the headers it sounded really good). I've also had a C5 with a SLP Loudmouth 2 and I really enjoyed how that sounded, also with headers. I had another C5 with stock manifolds and a set of Corsa extremes and it was loud but it sounded great.

A lot of forum members like the new Borla series of exhaust.

Mostly the Borla S-Type-II or the Atak.

I have the Borla S-Type II and really like them.

Look/listen to the bassani exhaust....it sounds AMAZING, but drones pretty bad between 1800-2200 rpm's. Ran it for a few years before swapping to zo6 bi-mode system.....miss the sound ALOT,but not the drone

have the SLP II loudmouth and they sound great but make no mistake about it...they drone. I can see swapping them out eventually.

No way you can beat a complete 3 inch Billy Boat system, long tube header, x pipe with mini cats, and fusion exhaust. Callaway CAI, tune up and I dyno'd an additional 100 rwhp

No one answer for everyone regarding exhausts, and the recorded sound clips just don't sound like the real, in-person experience. Many, including me, have purchased a Borla or other after-market system and found that they couldn't live with it daily.

Had NPP and mild to wild switch on my A6 coupe. Loved running it with the flaps open but didn't care for the drone. After living with the drone issue for 3 years it became very annoying. Switched to Corsa Sports. Love the sound and no more drone issues.

If you have the NPP exhaust,buy a set of headers instead.That will augment the sound and give you added power.It sounds great setup like that!
