Default Another Procharged Z06 in the 9s

Came across this on Instagram. The car was built by LMR and has an F1R, not sure what else it has, but the car does have "LMR 1200" badging on the side.

Sounds like an A8. The haters need to listen to how fast this car shifts.

I agree! According to LMR's Instagram, it has an experimental torque converter.

Thanks for the cool pic, but its just an F1R making 19-20lbs. Car 100% street able for the customer to drive everyday.
However, we have a couple of F1X builds in the works.

Didn't know it has an F1R. The caption on Speed FX's Instagram said F1X. Thanks for clearing this up

Will always have haters when you are on top and building super cars.
Please read thread started by Late Model Racecraft. You can read about the transmission and torque converter. This car made over 1000rwhp and with 20% drivetrain loss through 8sp automatic that puts it well over the 1200HP Flywheel numbers. Thank you for your concern.

Yes, that is why you got to love the internet. haha

Seriously though, we did miss a little on the prototype torque converter as she was blowing through it down track. This car is only at 19-20lbs of boost with the F1R and it we can push it a little more, but need to get the torque converter right before adding even more HP to it. The F1X head unit will make even more power.

We have several other High HP builds in the works, we will get the torque converter dialed in. As for the 8sp automatic we built, she has been holding the power and shifted great this past Saturday night at the track.

I'm not hating at all..... But last time I checked 1200hp cars don't trap 138-141 mph on a clean pass..... OK YOU have a converter issue, I'll give ya that, but your going to pick up 15mph??? Been racing/calibrating cars a long time, never picked up that kind of mph from a converter change...
What was the DA on these runs?

I will say the trans shifts great... You guys must have the tq model nailed pretty good so congrats on that.

I just calibrated a bolt on c7 z06 at 12 psi with a stock upper and 9% lower with LTs, DRs, e85 (closer to e50 actually) that ran 10.1 at 136 in 4000da... That car made 660rwhp

This was the DA on Saturday night when we went 9.36@150 with Skips F1R C7Z (stock motor, trans and converter) at the same racetrack.

Weather plays a big factor here. A 9.7 pass in -800ft DA would be a 10.20 in 1980 ft DA.

Of course. My point is 9s are 9s. Headers, cai, ported OEM blower, E85 and 3.1 upper pulley, and tune went 9.7 in an M7 car that is inferior in a dead start race according to most here

Lets just say the CLEARLY inferior M7 cancels out DA delta. Who you think is more likely to negotiate warranty work? Nevermind I know that answer

Try to tell a guy in the 9.3's that its the same as running a 9.70. He wouldnt agree.

You missed my point about DA. The car you are quoting would be a 10.2 second car in this weather.
