Had an interesting night on saturday..
So I was hit by a drunk driver on Saturday night while driving my 2011. I was doing about 40/45 when the other driver swerved into my lane and brushed against my rear quarter, wheel (just recently installed CCW SP500s), and drivers side door. The story gets much worse at that point, but I feel I should probably keep the details to myself until the dust settles a bit.
Can anyone refer me to a reputable body/collision shop in the metro Detroit area? I'm worried about any damage that might have been caused by him making contact with my wheel. Thanks!

Ouch. Not a good time. Don't know any shops up there, but good luck and keep us posted on how it turns out.

Can't recommend a body shop, but I just wanted to say that I hope everything goes well for you. I also had an accident yesterday when someone rear ended me because they were on their damn phone. I know how you're feeling right now. Best of luck with everything.

He name dropped and I'm fairly certain he got away with it. I have already contacted my lawyer and am in the process of pursuing other courses of action as well. Hopefully the situation gets dealt with as best as it can at this point. Unfortunately, I have a feeling the other driver is getting off with less than a slap on the wrist due to how things were handled at the scene.
