Default 1/4 Mile Times

What are the times you have run with an ECS supercharger, headers and meth around 700 rwh for the 1/4 mile?

Thanks Doug, are those numbers typical with that set up? And what tires do you recommend for combination street and track? Your thoughts?

Yes those numbers are typical, plenty of C6's running those times too. M/T ET streets or a comparable drag radial works great, but if you want more of a cross tire then the Nitto Invo's do well too but you will give up a little traction with those.

Had to be running D/R with that number, These c7 just don't have the 60 ft times that the c5 and c6 have. On stock gearing and stock trans in these cars are more made for the other track racing not the 1/8 r 1/4 mile.

What do you call decent 60ft time for stock gearing and transmission? Jeremy Formato went 1.4's with his M7 Z06. I believe most of guys with C7's are running superb 60 foots.

Last year, I went 9.95 on 13lbs with cam/long tubes/single meth/modified Circle D converter. I also 60' a 1.37 last weekend leaving off a Lingenfelter LNC2014 at 1800rpm (no nitrous).

I run the Nitto NT05R myself. They are a good mix of street/drag radial. Not quite as much grip as the Mickey Thompson, but better handling. I've heard the Mickeys can feel a bit loose at high speeds.

the 9.95 last year was at 138mph with a 1.54 60'.... It was a 1/8 mile pass with the 1.37 60'. Trans was not shifting correctly and hung on the limiter. It went 6.36@111mph. Should do better this weekend.

Cam? You will start being limited on high pressure fuel without a 32%+ cam lobe. I would say mid-high 10s @ high 120s maybe with 10lbs and no cam.
