If doing a full fuel system switch I wouldn't be running a generic tune. From what I've seen. Faster proms has a sensor and you need a tune. Is e85 readily available in your area ?

You need to do this right. Spend the money and go to someone who has done many of these cars AND WILL TUNE IT ON A DYNO. Mine has had quite a few more modifications than yours but part of my modifications included meth and the E85 conversion.

Trying to do it yourself or have someone install this who has a learning curve to go through is just not smart.

May end up burning up your car or at the very least leaving a lot of power on the table. No such thing as a generic tune for this car with different modifications.

we have a complete package we can set you up with.

For meth we use/sell Alky control
For the low side fuel supply we make a system and we also package it with a flex fuel kit
Depending on how much power you're going for you will need a cam too which we offer as well.

You are not far from us should you want to not only get one of our packages but also have us install/tune it here.

I have seen where many members that arent going crazy with the power arent using the cam.I will be around 625whp before the tune and I wont be adding anything else but e85.Im in Fort worth so Az is to far from me.Do you have any links for the parts so I can see what im looking at cost wise,I have a pretty good idea.

Did you do a open source tune or do you use a handheld tuner with a duel tune?

My engine has had extensive internal modifications heads, cam, pushrods etc. Yes the tune senses the fuel used and adjusts accordingly to be more aggressive on the E85 than the 93.

AMP is located in Irving... Not a cheap builder but they are one of the best and fwiw tune a lot of other builders cars and dyno them.

HP tuner was used.

Are duel tunes possible with HP tuner so that I can go back to stock if needed?

Roughly im looking at $1100 for the flex and meth kit plus whatever amp chargers for tune...What kind of power increase did you make going from 93 to e85?

I was under the impression the pumps simply couldn't keep up with the flow rates for 650hp or more at E-85.

Adding adjunctive meth might bandaid that up top, but I wouldn't want to store >50% meth underhood either (we've seen a couple of fires already).

I'd jump at E85 if the car could do it, but I don't think it can. Am I wrong?

Vengence Racing gave the ok for just a sensor and meth and thats it,and thats for 625whp.

If you are using the flex fuel snesor, the dual tunes won't be necessary because the tuner will use that and the tune will compensate how much E85 is in the fuel. So you can run 93 or E85 and the tune will automatically compensate. Yes, HP tuners allows this.

If one could get the system working, you could run half/half for a safety margin (E-40 more or less). Lots of octane but still not as demanding on the fuel system.

Unless they're totally certain - but the last thing you want is leaning out at WOT under full boost, that's for sure.... but they'd know.

Well it depends on your tuner and the engine changes.. My tune treats shift points for example different when in E85 than 93 just for example. Could not tell you what it is like in a unmodified engine.
