I have mine painted likes yours, except mine are black because my car is Cyber Gray. Black matched my 'glass' top and black 'halo'.

GM probably only kept it black because it was cheaper that way. My C6 is white, but everything above the door line is black, so it looks good.

I carbon fiber wrapped mine when I did the roof.
It changed the whole look of the car.
