Default My 2017 Stingray arrived today

Wes Milby with Reliable Chevrolet in Springfield Mo notified me about noon today that my 2017 M7 Z51 Magnetic Ride Convertible Long Beach Red with Spice Red package had arrived. Vin #703.
This is my 3rd c7, a coupe and two Convertibles.
I did not order the Grand Sport even though would have only been $3200 more.
Frankly, I thought the wide body looked "frumpy" on the convertible and got in the way of the already sleek lines of the C7.
If it had another 50 horsepower I would have been all over it.
I drive my Stingray extremely hard on the street and get it sideways several times a week. The Z51 gives me everything I need and I don't need the suspension or boy racer effects of the Grand Sport.
Flaming can begin.

Congrats! I haven't seen too many photos of the spice red package on here, if you remember and get a chance I'd love to see a few!

Enjoy your new ride!

Sounds like a beauty and no need to tell you to enjoy it as you certainly know how to do that.

You know, wider tires would help you control that.

That's the point. I enjoy sideways and would have to go even faster to have as much fun! The Z51 gives me all I need and it has cleaner lines.

I agree. I don't "hate" the wide-body look on the GS and Z06, but I agree that the convertible looks better in Z51 clothes.

Congrats, BTW!

I had my 500 mile oil change there almost one year ago to today after doing R8C delivery and driving back to Seattle with my son. They seemed like a great dealership.

good luck-just curious as to why 3 C7s in 4 years. I can't afford to get more than 1 C7 every 2 years (lol)

To your eyes the GS convertible looks frumpy and in your opinion it's a boy racer, but if it had 50 more HP you would have purchased one? ???

You really have to be going some to get these to go sideways! Believe me I know. I have no fear. It sounds like you are in my camp.
