Default Gran sport

I have a 2009 grand sport I have Ellabrock supercharger on it I have a Dewitt two-core radiator I have Dewitts duel fan in the summer heat of Arizona I can be driving along in traffic temperatures 205-208 deg. With the AC on I get on the highway and my temperature runs around 208 to 208 deg.

If I shut the car off for 20 minutes start it back up my temperature jumps anywhere between 219 and 228 the AC kicks off at 219 deg.I shut the car off and start it back up and it runs fine any help would be greatly appreciated

Never heard of a 2009 Corvette Grand Sport.

You have a one-of-a-kind car

That's called heat soak and it's normal. When it is turned off, the fan stops and the water pump stops, so there is a short buildup of heat for a few minutes until the whole thing starts to cool off. It is more pronounced if the car is shut off right after coming up a long hill or just being driven hard..

This is spot on, especially in that oven of Arizona in the summer.

I apologize on behalf of the jerks. Thanks for your service, and keep in mind that there are helpful people here.

I have an aftermarket adjustable fan controller that runs the fan for several minutes after shutdown to minimize heat soak.

I agree with the heat soak deal. What Joe B said could help with extra fan time. Thanks for your service
