GS Colors I'd be Careful
Will be interesting to see some of the GS color combos coming out. Appears with the stripe options interior seat belts and the like there is ample opportunity to customize a car. I have always believed or tried to believe there is no such thing as an ugly corvette but looking at the delivery cams at the museum........I don't know.
To me when you throw so many different colors on a car highlighting so many different angles you can really end up with a blaw car.
Each to their own but just throwing colors together w/o an eye for a flow can have ugly results, my wife has tried to tell me that for years in my attire!!!
But I love the wheels. Will be a breeze to clean.
Funny..... I was looking at a used BMW7 once upon a time...... a few thousand under market. Asked the dealer why he said all 7 series are white, black or silver..........not the light silver blue this one was with cream interior......... said they could not move it. IDK.

Some interesting comments in this thread.
Personally, I think it's awesome that GM is allowing the degree of customization that they are with the 2017 model year.
Why? Because I remember years ago, everyone bitching that options and option packages for Corvettes were too constricting and overall, there weren't enough options to choose from.
Now, you have a ton of options to choose from in order to allow you to pretty much customize the car any way you want.
Porsche does it. Dodge did it with the last couple model years of the Viper. Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Lamborghini do it.
So why not Corvette? Yes, you're going to see some ugly combinations just like you do with Aston Martins, Porsches, etc., but who cares?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I look at the 2017 Corvette Grand Sport like a piece of art. One person may think the Mona Lisa is one sexy woman, while another person may think she looks like a dog brought in from a rain storm.
It's all subjective. If you've got the money, build it how YOU want it!!

Mostly agree.
The C7 Grand Sport is a great marketing move by GM, but the flagship GS in Admirable Blue would have been better without white stinger, black wheels, and red hash marks splattered on it. Looks ricer and very busy. I'm not sure of the thinking on making it a C4 clone.
That said I have a Grand Sport on order and it will only be in two colors - LBR and carbon flash. Two is plenty, JMO.

I agree with Greg, I have seen some really strange color combos, some of which you ask yourself why, why why.

Check book and bad taste can cause a lot of problems.
I have seen some hideous Porsches. Porsche lets you customize pretty much anything, literally. Some people have created some really bad looking 911's.

Normally, there is a reason GM does not allow certain color combinations. But it appears they threw that out the window. I have no problem with people ordering what they like. And I never comment negatively about someone's choices. But some of these combinations ae going to make the brand and model look bad.

Yep, just like the saying about opinions!
We will be seeing some real winners with all the color combinations.

Drifting
Im playing it "safe" WGG/jet black interior with red stitching, and red calipers. Exposed carbon fiber hood, roof, and dash with plans to put a fine red pin stripe on edges of the CF and WGG paint

As I read the thread comments, nobody is complaining there are to many options, rather there are just some hideous combos available. I ran on track with a guy who had a 2014 C7 that had full length orange stripes (factory). Different to say the least.
With the '17 GS color combos, there should be a lot of "1 of 1" builds.
