C6 ZR1 Spoiler Installed
Finally got around to installing the ZR1 spoiler I won through the St Judes Auction. Did some checking on the 'Net on the install (to supplement the written instructions from RPI) and found a
that really helped. Especially about using Painters Tape to cover the top-rear section of the top of bumper cover so the paint I put on the tips of the posts (for nuts) would show up easily.
With my two left thumbs, it took me about 90 minutes... and I only dropped one tool down into the bumper cover area and was REALLY lucky that it didn't go down into a crevice. I was able to retrieve (whew).
The color of the pixs aren't great, so it may look like it isn't a colormatch to my Victory Red Vert... but it is... a very nice finish.

Good job. Looks great to me.
I had an AW ZR1 spoiler on mine but had it painted gloss black with the targa and b pillar.

Fitment is great. It is key to follow directions when drilling the additional 6 mounting holes, to make the holes large enough (min. of 1/8" larger than post) so that there is sufficient "give" when one tightens down with the supplied nuts. There is a small amount of give-in-take with the 10 mounting nuts that dictate how the edges along the spoiler "flex" as pressure is applied via the tightening of the nuts.
