Default Looking for audio processors?

Just bought a 2016 Silverado. Don't want to replace the 8" screen. So I need an audio processor. Audison and Mosconi are the two that I've found. Does anyone have any info on these. Will be adding some decent component speakers, and a two 8" or 10" JLW3. This is a regular cab. I think there is enough space behind the seats to acomodate two good sub woofers. Any info on the processors would be appreciated. Thank you.

What Audison proc are you looking at? The flagship Thesis HV Venti is $12k. Have you considered the Focal brand for speakers?

What are you trying to accomplish with the processor?

LOC, Time Alignment, EQ, Crossover?

Do you have a budget?

Without knowing what you're trying to do and how much you are willing to spend it's hard to recommend an appropriate processor. That being said, there's endless information on all of the available processors from Audison, Mosconi, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, MiniDSP, etc on http://diymobileaudio.com/forum/

Let us know exactly what you're trying to accomplish and maybe we can point you in the right direction.

Just bought a 2016 Silverado regular cab Z71. It has the 8" screen that I don't want to remove. I will be adding set of the JL Audio ZR 6.5 component speakers, C5 6.5 coaxials and two JL Audio 10" TW3's. Also a 1200/6 ARC Audio amp. So I would like a decent DSP to make everything sound as best as possible. Thanks in advance.

Do you know how to tune or are you willing to learn how to tune with a DSP?

If not I'd say just get a JBL MS-8 and be done with it.

I don't have any experience with tuning a DSP. Just want some opinions on what works and produces good sound. These things can get pricey so I only want to do this once.

It sounds like you're not planning on running the front components bi-amped, since you only have 6 channels of amplification.

If you don't know how to tune and don't want to learn how to (time consuming and frustrating!) A unit that does auto-tuning would probably be a good investment. The JBL MS-8 has been used and reviewed by many and said to do a pretty darn good job of making the most out of your gear via automatically set up DSP.

I added the Bit Ten processor plus a JL 700 amp. I didn't want to replace the HU so the Bit Ten was an inexpensive alternative to tune the signal. Very happy with the sound.

I would like more info from you on that processor. What car did you install that on. What other audio equipment did you install? Amp, speakers, subs etc. Thanks in advance.

2011 ZR1. I installed the JL XD 700 amp, Bit Ten Processor, JL C5650 speakers, JL 5525 speakers, JL 10" Stealthbox Sub with remote level control and Hushmat sound deadening insulation in the doors and trunk. I kept the Bose speaker grills and since the Stealthbox looks like OEM there is almost no visible evidence of the mod.
