My 58 is for sale. It is northwest Indiana. 90-95% original. does not run. It was in a garage for 20 years. Sure cleaned a really nice though. Would need to be trailered. Asking 38k....get it while you can!

Pictures of the engine bay, the tach, front side of the differential, transmission and chassis would all be helpful.

Very nice! Exactly what i am looking for. Private seller. Car nearly complete but not perfect. I would love to see more pictures (see postings above). Could you contact me for details by private message/emails? Am not right sure how this works out here in the forum.

I looked over the pictures on e bay and it appears that your 58 is sitting on a later chassis. It could be anywhere from a 1960 to a 1962. The only way to be sure would be to check the Vin number stamped on the frame rail. I say this because there is a rear sway bar mounted behind the rear axle. The rear sway bar started in 1960 and continued through 1962. It's possible that the bar was added by a previous owner by welding the stabilizer link brackets to the frame rails and changing the lower shock brackets to the later style. That's why I think he frame Vin should be checked to be sure, The seats appear to be 1962 and the heater and dash *****. It's still a good looking 58 but I would check the frame to be sure of what you have.

Anybody able to actually contact the seller? I have sent PM and just went through ebay. Has anybody looked at the car in person?

it appears he has no desire for anyone to come by and inspect the car. I tried several times to see it.

I was able to contact the seller through ebay, and had a nice discussion with him over the phone. He did let me know a day later that the car had sold.
