Here comes another c-2 road trip!
As we have almost every year since 2008, a bunch of us will hit the highways next month for another trek across a large portion of the US, in this case a tour of national parks in the Dakotas, Montana and Wyoming.
A little history: in April of 2008 a bunch of strangers from all over the US, each driving a mid-year Corvette, met in Chicago for a tour of Route 66. A couple of weeks later, we had become the best of friends and vowed to continue traveling together regularly as long as we are able.
The second trip took us from Vancouver BC to San Diego; then it was following the Mississippi River from the headwaters to the Gulf of Mexico. One year we rented a 15,000 sq. ft. party house near Lake Tahoe and took the Corvettes out for day trips in the surrounding areas. We have toured Michigan and its shorelines, some of the southeast (in a trip we called Dixie Dash) and a sizable chunk of Arizona and New Mexico (the Desert Dash).
As always, we are hoping to meet up with other Forum members/Corvette lovers along the way and our itinerary is available to anyone who might be interested in joining us.

I sold my 67 Coupe last year and bought a C6, so this year we will be driving our 1966 Impala SS. I'll probably be banished to the back of the line so I don't tarnish the good looks of all the beautiful mid-year's.

Think off all that luggage you can bring along in the trunk of that car.

Waiting for a trip closer to me... My bucket list includes a trip with you crazies. And I will be driving the Vette.... Will fix it as we go along... The minor MSD Problems should be sorted out by then.
Have to save up for your next trip.. Takes allot of money to due your "Donald Trump" first class trips. Got my new Double Secret NSA Nose bra.. So I'm ready...

I've been in Yellowstone in mid Sept before and got a foot of snow! We were staying at the Old Faithful Inn and it snowed overnight and the park actually had to close the roads until about noon to run the snowplows. I wasn't concerned as I was driving my Grand Cherokee and the park looked great coated with snow.

Money...GOOD.....
PS: Ask your friend who changed out his IAC if he pulled the TB... Still looks like it will come out without popping the fuel rails.
