Default Yall got any cool custom plate ideas?

What up C4 CF! Havent been on here for a while, lot of work and entrepreneur projects goin on.

This car is TOO unique not to get a dope custom plate

I'm a pretty creative guy but I am stumped bc I want something that has to do w/ the C4 itself. Not somethin typical race-like or about Vettes in general something unique that revolves around the C4. Maybe there's some factory code names/aliases or events or designer names or places that have to do w/ C4 history that would be cool?

Honestly I think you guys know more about the car than the internet 7 space limit in Cali. Thanks for the suggestions

Jerry Palmer - was the first designer creating the initial concept for the C4.....

I've been trying to think of something different too for the C4 I just purchased last month. The typical '96 C4' tags are already taken. I want others to understand the tag though, not some cryptic message that no one gets. It's tough. I did notice that 1996 CE is not taken for my state. That would work for my car but it is a bit boring. I don't just want meaningless generic letters and numbers though. Like you, I'll be watching here for good ones that people can offer.

I see what you're saying about not being cryptic but most ppl don't know anything about cars let alone the C4 lol so they aren't going to understand anything that isn't obvious right away.

I got this from the video I posted above ChevyIII - the design studio name. you know just stuff like that until you find something you really like

What up dog...welcome back

Since it is C4 how about something like this:

4 PLAY
C4 PLAY
FOR PLAY
FOUR PLAY
FORE PLAY

I know the last two have 8 characters but you can drop a letter to make it work.

I tried the "4 PLAY" plate a few years back and it was rejected as "too suggestive" here in Texas. I tried to explain that one car is for work and this one is for (4) play. They wouldn't budge. Don't understand their logic when a friends girlfriend got a plate that said D-CUP !

Well he did not want to as you can imagine. He did fight it and the local TV station, or stations did a story about it, it was either South Bend or Fort Wayne, but in the end he had to give up the license plate.

I am not sure which car he had this on but he lives in Illinois now and drives a gold C4 Corvette Convertible, not sure of the year but it has the 4+3 manual transmission.

I am not sure if something would work for you in California.

I have another friend who was looking for something suggestive. He did get “KWIK” or something like that, I can’t remember even though I had seen it on his Mazda Miata a couple days ago. We will see how long before the state of Illinois takes that one away for him…maybe I should have not posted it here

Does anyone have any names or links to the concept car/s that played a role in the C4 design?

I found this:

http://www.corvettereport.com/corvet...etting-part-8/

So called AstroVette But the designs are from mid 60s. There must be something from the early to mid 70s that became the C4 no?
