Does anyone know of an affordable Interior LED kit? I'm not wild about spending $50 for a kit when the LED's are typically only a couple bucks a piece. Thanks!

Amazon has the bulbs. There are only two model lamps for the interior. Can't remember off the top but the hatch led are hook style lamps. And the rest of the interior are the same. Think I got 10 LEDs for $12 and the hatch was $6 for 5.

Were the other interior ones a wedge shape 194 or pill shape with pointy ends 212

On the ones for the mirror you can fit a 194 bulb that has a second row of leds and they will fit. Gives you more light.

I'm interested in the same for my C6, do anyone know the name ( number ) for the bulbs for the hatch? Will the 194's also work for the lights in the footwell?

These are the rear hatch area bulbs. I've had mine in there for about a year with no issues.

If you are going to buy the cheap 194 from ebay/amazon, make sure you buy some spares.

They can be defective/ stop working quickly, and also in the map lights they tend to stay lit very dim even when off.

The Amazon ones come in a pack of 20 for $8 so there are plenty of spares. The 194 fits in the footwell, map, and glove box. I also bought sockets for the 194 to add two lights in the foot well.
