I had a box made up from a box co here in town. I was able to put both seats in the one box. I shipped them UPS. IT WILL TAKE TWO GUYS TO HANDLE IT BUT UNDER THE WEIGHT LIMIT. Robert

You can find shipping calculators on the FedEx, UPS, USPS & DHL websites...they allow you to enter weight, size, etc. and they give you all of options/costs.

I put my two Ultrashield Seats in a UHaul Wardrobe box. The size was 22x18x48 I believe. However, I had to do some reinforcing to make sure it didn't come apart during shipping. FedEx and UPS will charge you a $67 fee for an over sized box. Expect shipping to be expensive if you are shipping any distance. Weight wasn't as much of a factor as box size was.
To reinforce the box I used automotive upholstery spray adhesive to seal the flaps on the bottom of the box. Then I put a reinforcing piece of cardboard over the flaps from the inside. Then I taped the hell out of the bottom. I needed a box 36 inches high so I cut the ward robe box down by slicing the corners and turning it inward. Then I taped the seats together and used some foam blocks to keep the seats from moving around in the box.

I've shipped larger car parts before and it definitely seems that FedEx is almost always the cheapest.
