FS: PRC 227cc CNC Ported Heads: Refurbished
SOLD!
Hi Guys, I selling my PRC high compression heads to make way for my twin turbo project. Came off my 2007 LS2 coupe M6. Also will be selling the G6X3 cam and headers in the near future.
These heads have the tall cathedral intake ports. Look up the specs for these heads on the Texas Speed website.
Stock head gasket on a LS2 will yield 11:4.1 compression ratio. The angle of the valves are laid over to allow more PTV room, and flow rates on the ports are fantastic.
Real world performance: I have the G6x3 cam, Fast Intake 102, Headers, UDP, meth injection, and stock head gasket. Stock heads, the car was really fast in the lower and mid ranges. . . even with the big cam. When I changed over to the PRC heads, the car really woke up especially in the mid to upper rom ranges. I could really feel the extra power when downshifting from 6th gear to fourth to pass on the highway. Throws you in the back of the seat hard and performance is very snappy. For naturally aspirated cammed engines, these heads are beast. Tuned on a dyno, car put out 502rwhp thru a stock six speed and 459 ftlbs of torque. I bought the heads new and used them for about 15k. No track use and only 3 dyno pull sessions.
After I removed them from my car, I sent them to Texas Speed (the manufacturer) to have them completely redone with brand new intake and exhaust valves, (updated) valve springs (good for .660" lift), valve seals, valve job, cleaned, and checked for trueness and cracks. One of the heads still in the box.
I am selling them for 1400.00 free shipping UPS in continental USA.
They are also on Fleabay...ending Friday. Ask me any questions!
