Just replaced my original opti with a new Petris unit. I installed this MSD cap and rotor when water pump went out in Feb 2015, miles at that time, 66,070. New opti installed at 67,966, so just under 1,900 miles on this MSD Kit. This has everything that came with the kit to convert a non-vented cap to a vented one. There are some light scratches on the face of the cap, but otherwise in great shape. I have the original invoice from Summit Racing if you would like to see it.

They appear to be the same, I know the distributor drive is different but the caps from MSD look the same. Only difference is the earlier kit comes with the vent tubing and later models don't. I would be willing to refund your purchase price if it doesn't fit, would ask that you pay for return shipping?
