Default M7 drag racers......question on high gear?

I went drag racing tonight for the first time...I found myself either shifting into 4th on the high end or stay in 3rd.

Shifting into 4th I was getting mph of about 122.....if I left it in 3rd I hit almost 125.

So are you shifting into 4th or staying in third and your results.....

As a side note.....I found that my last run tonight with Nitto's drag radials I left at about 4000 rpm....the car hooked really well......making me wish I had been using the launch method as opposed to my variable foot!

I think most M7 guys have the same issue on 'normal' tracks where they aren't doing 132mph hero runs. I know in Phoenix the best I've managed is 11.3 stock w/stock tires...but the DA was crap, 2500ish. Hope to go back this winter and get a 10s slip...Regardless I dealt with the same thing...stay in 3rd and hit the limiter or shift into 4th...for me so far the times have been similar...usually 124-126mph. Hopefully when the weather gets better I can do a little better...not sure what the answer is with the shift though, outside of running different wheel/tire sizes or tuning it for slightly more RPM.
