Help me Search for Posts on GS tires
Guess I'm not doing something right but when I go to Search and put in GS tires, I get everything under the sun, most of which has nothing to do with my request. Help is appreciated since I'm getting ready for tires on my '11 GS...probably going with NON-run flats. Thanks

Good grief.. You fellas are little hard on the guy don't you think? He never said his car was "special".. His question is about tires that are best for the size required on a GS.. Perhaps your accusation of his "Believing a salesman" was pushing it..
Bill.. I have a 2012 GS with Nitto Invo's on it.. They were installed by a previous owner, and I've been very happy with them.. Tons of grip, low road noise.. They are pretty reasonably priced as well..
****.. if you can't say anything nice..

It is easier to search for Z06 tires, because they are the same size. If you put in my user name, I've commented on many of the tire threads too.
Having said that, here are the cliff notes versions of tires that fit the Grand Sport.
Runflats - Everyone likes the Bridgestones and Michelins, pretty much boiling down to a personal preference and availability. I've ran both, and they both perform very similar (which is very good and predictable for a street tire).
Non-Runflats - Most prefer the Nitto's or Michelins, and both perform well. For longer life and a low price some use Coopers, but you do sacrifice some traction when they are cool.
Very few like or stay with the Goodyears......

Seadawg summed it up. I have the Bridgestone Pole Positions RFT's on my 13 GS and love them. I had the Pfadt Street Alignment applied and have over 16,000 miles on them and the tread wear is even across all four tires and they are not half worn yet.
Always going to be haters. All Corvettes are great but mine is special!!! Because it's mine!

I've driven on sports car tires since 2003...So in those 13 years, by far the best kind of tire I've driven on is the current (Non-RF Michelin Pilot Super Sports) on my 2013 Grand Sport.

I may be an odd duck, but I rarely use the search function on any forum. I go to Google and type in the key words. Doing it that way will generally (99.9% of the time) give you results that will direct you to links from previous posts on this forum.

There IS something "special" about a Grand Sport in that it takes different tires than a base model. The OP was smart to narrow his search to Grand Sport tires so that his results are relevant. Your snappy/snide comment was unwarranted. Maybe the next time you need C6 tires, don't treat the C6 as so special and merely search for "car tires" and enjoy the thousands of irrelevant hits.

It would be a lot easier to just go to google, type in the size of the tire you are looking for, then hit "enter". Or go to Tire Rack, there you can search car specific, tire specific, or tire size specific. Its not hard to do.

I have a 2010 GS and same tires. HUGE upgrade over the OEM tires. I live in a small town and got a good price at our local Sam's Club.
