Default Rocker Arm Choices

I have done lots of research on rocker arms.
Mine is 2000
I'd "like" to go with a 1.8 ratio rocker just to pick up
a little extra hp/ with the stock cam.
I don't plan on doing a cam or heads upgrade....

But I'd like to replace my springs and rockers just
as a maint type item.. and piece of mind with rocker arm
needles and broken springs.
I think I've finally settled on just doing the LS6 blue springs,
comp magnum pushrods ...
So for the rockers: comp ultra gold alum arc, comp ultra pro magnum, yella terra, summit alum roller rockers.

I've also entertained the idea of just upgraded to the straub bushings for the stock rockers.. but I'd really like to upgrade to 1.8...

I DON"T want extra valvetrain noise , so any experiences with any of these is appreciated.
BTW: 2000 LS1 Vert. Catback, Cold Air, Hypertech.. SO pretty much stock. 114K miles... Runs like new still.
Thanks

Why not go with the SLP 1.8 rockers? They are similar to the stock rockers. If you go aluminum, my choice would be the Yella Terra. If you go to the YT or aftermarket rocker, you need to verify the wipe pattern of the rocker and shim accordingly. Once shimmed, then measure for pushrods. Every set that I have installed has required some level of shimming resulting in a different length pushrod.

As for the springs, the PSI 1511ML would be my first choice.

Hey Froggy, I have a 99 and have considered a rocker arm upgrade. I see this is an old thread, but can you update your thoughts if you went forward and did this. I am curious to hear about your experience (BTW....if you are the same Froggy from the youtube vids, I have found your C5 tech videos to be pretty helpful).

Thanks.
