Default Painted my seats?

i wouldn't have believed it had I not done it myself. They are soft as ever and as they where they shine even more like real leather. I have the 2003 shale interior. I took my seat in to be color matched. I shot two coats of the Dupont paint it does not chip Wrinkle or crack. I need to put new skins on my seats as they were wearing out. I heard about this paint so thought what do I have to lose. Just an option to think about if you are in the same situation as I was

Interesting to hear, but you've been around long enough to know that...

http://www.colorbondpaint.com/

I have used the above product on another car and I got amazing results with perfect matching. Has been a year and looks exactly like it did when I painted it.

If you don't have rips in your seats and they are just worn out, this can make them look excellent again instead of spending hundreds on new seat covers. Dry time is almost immediate, though I waited about 30 minutes before sitting in my car. Sorry didn't take pics but I can personally vouch for the product that I listed in my link.

I agree, the Colorbond paint is an exact match for my 2003 interior colors and I have used it for several projects. Don't waste your $$ on trying to get a match for GM Shale or GM Medium Dark Neutral using other brands like SEM......theirs Does Not match the GM colors.
I would strongly recommend using an Adhesive Promoter Primer after wiping your leather of vinyl down with denatured alcohol before painting. I also used a low sheen clear coat on the plastics that I painted. So far this has worked great. I found that the prices for Colorbond with shipping were lowest at Amazon.
