How doable is this price...
With the 2017 Z06s marching in....
Do you folks think a new 2016 2LZ, M7, with PDR is obtainable for 75K or less?
Basically discount in the range beyond 12%...
Just curious, I've talked to a few local dealers and they look at me like I'm on crack. LOL

They can be found in small towns as well. Has to do with how long they have been in inventory......not the size of the dealership. My small dealership in Mexico, MO had only one C7 that happened to be a z06 that sat on the floor for months. It listed for 97k and sold for 77k the day I was their getting my 16 Denali serviced. Just have to look.

Yes, it's doable, but selection is thinning. If you see a car that is equipped exactly the way you want it, don't let a couple hundred dollars stand in the way.
There are exceptions, but generally 14-18% is a good range IMO, which is about twice what high volume dealerships were offering in the Spring... but I got exactly what I wanted. GL.
Edit: Now that the lack luster changes have been released for the '17s, many on the sidelines may be jumping on the heavily discounted '16s. My advice: Don't wait around too long... unless you're not particular about color, options, etc.

smart people are buying 2016s at big money off.when you go down the road or park your car nobody will be able to tell if is a 16 or 17,the only person who will know is you and the big money you got off compared to a 17.

Just picked up a 2016 3lz with a few extras for $79k. No choice on exact car though as the dealers can only tag a few with the GM discount. This was cheaper than the Grand Sport I negotiated with them.

YES, it's totally possible. Use Autotrader also to search. Believe me. They will contain results from small town dealers that are not on this forum and you will be rewarded.

Mrsp on that was $93k. Had a trade and got the high end of KBB as well. It was their only car marked with the GM 10% discount. It was a Long Beach red with spice red package which looks a little suspect online but is great looking in person. Not how I would have ordered but love it. All I cared about eas getting rid of the pos auto for a M7. Ended up with an extra 190 hp and a ton more grip.
