High pressure fuel pump bolts broke.
The high pressure fuel pump bolts sheared off just below the pump. Not sure if the pump failed and caused the bolts to break? Anyone else seen this before?

Doubt the pump failed, guessing the pressure broke the bolts.
Which +3X% lobe you using? Did you lash cap it to replace the preload on the pump?

Perhaps the bolts act as a handy "fuse" to protect the pump, but I think if I were doing this mod I'd consider uprating the bolts to ARP or something if there's an option out there. I've heard of this happening a number of times now.
But if you strengthen the bolts, and something still has to give, who knows what'll fail instead...

No lash cap and 32%.
Anyone have the steel adapter plate that goes under the high pressure pump? One of the holes is dorked now after the bolt broke taking out some of the threads.
