Default 2017 Grand Sport Torch Red-1 week of ownership

09/13/16 Delivery of Ordered 17' Grand Sport.

I am a finance manager at a Socal Chevrolet dealership. My shift at work didn't start until 1 PM. At 11 AM, one of my salesman Facetimes me the delivery of my 2017 Grand Sport 1LT from the carrier.

With absolutely NO CHILL , i rushed to work to make sure no one touched it after PDI. I had the Splitters and front lip uninstalled to get it wrapped with Clear Bra first.

Here are the following Options:
1. 1LT
2. Torch Red
3. Adrenaline Red
4. Safety Belts Red
5. PDR
6. Carbon Flash Exterior Package
7. Black Wheels
8. 7 Speed Manual

I built the most purist form of the grand sport can be in 7 speed manual without all the excessive comfort creatures that I already have in my Volt.

It's been a week and I JUST got pass the 500 mile break in period.

If anyone in Socal want to meet up and go for a drive, PM me! I am SO IN LOVE with this car. Previously I owned a V6 Liberty Walk Challenger and this is such a nice upgrade!

Did you get much of a deal on it at Glendora Chevrolet? They were marking Z06's up $25,000-$35,000 as recent as six months ago.

That looks killer in red and I like the black calipers with your color.
Have you messed around with any burnouts and drifts yet?

Congrats!

Check out the Socal forum. There is a run planned for this weekend. If I don't run with that group, I may do my own.

Edit: No can spell.

Cool. I don't know any other members here in SoCal. I'm in the Valley. PM me if you want to meet up some time. (My son and I are going to take a drive early tomorrow morning -- not sure where yet...)

I am looking to get a volt as a DD for a long commute to work 14 days a month. How do you like it? I am looking to get a 1st gen and have mostly HWY miles.

CONGRATS! Born and raised in SG Valley. Ive been selling cars for 10 years now and started at a small chevy store in San Gabriel that has been closed down now for some years...

Im at the Benz store in Arcadia, I sold the C6 Z06 and have an F type now (leasing) ...would be cool to go cruising with other Vette members one day.
