Aem obdii 30-0311
Looks like a great "go to" gauge to go along with other fixed display types.

Anybody using this? If so, what's your opinion? Looks terrific to me
EDIT: Been running this gauge for a month and it sucks

Looks pretty neat, but don't think it has the ability to output wideband data over the CAN bus. Not really a big deal unless you're using it for tuning, though.
30-0333 is what I've been using as of late. Looks like AEM is trying to get the most out of this design by having different models for different feature sets. I'd bet they're all the same hardware, only software differences

Nice. Says 2008+ only. If it would work on my 2006 I would order one just to get rid of the aeroforce and get an AEM gauge to match the AEM gauge I have now.

Do you know if CAN was supported when they moved to the E38 controller while earlier ECMs ran J1850? Kinda makes sense

CAN was a requirement beginning in 2008 for all vehicles. GM implemented it in 2005 for the C6's, presumably so they wouldn't have to change it later
So--I think it will work fine on Unreal's car. I think AEM is just covering their you know what by saying 2008's and newer.

Depends what you mean by without the gauge... the gauge is the controller, so you can't remove the gauge altogether. I stuffed mine in the glovebox and just use the 0-5V output to run dash logic and the OBD connection for HPTuners.
I wish they had a non-gauge version, but I believe the issue is there isn't an easy way to config the CAN output without having a screen to work with.

Didn't mean to imply you said it wouldn't work, just "*** umed" it wouldn't work on the 2006. AEM might be saying 2008+ because of the mandate on all cars so the gauge should work on all C6.
PS: Just ordered one

Wait a second....
The gauge uses the 7 segment display to display a label showing what's being monitored, i.e "eth" for ethanol percentage. If the display is used to show "eth" then how is the actual value displayed? Hopefully not just by how many LEDS are on. Would be better to have the monitored value displayed only during PID selection, then the readout display the value along with scaled LEDs

I'll order one later when I get a chance. I hate my aeroforce and this would match my AEM wideband. Plus it reads ethanol which is nice since my aeroforce doesn't do that.

Ordered one. For that cheap why not try it, and worst case can always plug it into my mustang.

Kick *** gauge. In case you're piggy backing the can onto the WB gauge make sure to connect the GREEN CAN- wire on the 30-0311 to the BRN/WHITE CAN- wire on the 30-0333 and the WHITE CAN+ to the GREEN CAN+. Basically do the opposite of what looks correct.

Now if only we could get the Dashlogic to work with the 0333 directly over obd it would be great. That's a nice looking setup with all those matching gauges!
