Default Opinion of stripe

Just put this on, not sure about it

car is charcoal gray, and stripe is silver.

What about different color stripe?

Pictures of it farther away? If I were to do any exterior mods to the car, they'd match the car in some way (for example black wheels on a white vette that has the black molding) they'd match and make the car look better. But that's my personal opinion.

Need an outside picture, but so far, looks pretty decent.

as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and what one person despises another really likes

I usually lean toward exterior stripe to complement the looks of the car and not be distracting or pull your attention away from the car as a whole. That being said a different color that comes to mind would be a satin black.

It's kinda cool.. Other poster is right though, a shot from further away would help.

Without seeing it in person, it is hard to tell. But I think it looks good from the picture. It really shows off the body line on the hood.

What color is your interior?

I just purchased a set of red ones for my black convertible with a red interior. I want to add some color to the otherwise solid back exterior without adding a third color. I'm anxious to see what mine look like.

Another thing I like about them, is they highlight the raised portion of the hood. (As mentioned by someone else)

My concern is that it might make the hood look narrower, and I like the wide look of the hood.

My interior is light gray. I just ordered a set of flat black. If I don't like it, I will try gray. I found them on eBay for 17.00 and free shipping. It only took three days last time

I think the color you now have should go well with your grey interior. I too ordered mine from eBay. Anxious to see how soon they arrive.

I've seen some others that appear to be thinner than yours.
I'd like it more if read L98 TPI

I'm generally not a fan of stripes on Corvettes, but...

Your hood stripe is subtle, I think it looks fine.

Question is, do YOU like it?

The ones I ordered allowed you pick your own lettering up to a certain number of characters' (I don't remember what the limit was). I couldn't decide what to have, so mine are plain.

dont know if I like it. I'm thinking silver is too bright. I can get stripe in flat black or gray. If I do it again I think I will change it to TPI

It's an accent stripe! It's supposed to draw attention.

Looks great

I like it. I use to have that stripe on my stock hood but it said Corvette. I think it's a nice accent and gives the hood some definition there.

It's pretty good. Looks better when you are back off of it a little.

Tough to tell from the close up pic.

I'd keep it.
