Yes, that's fine and read the owners manual to change the display.

That's not a problem. I think the accuracy of the TPMS is ±1 psi anyway. I always try to make sure I make all the tires the same using my digital gauge, and it's incremented to 0.5 psi, still with a tolerance of ±1 psi.

You ARE losing control. That's why the "nannies" are there: to save you from yourself. I realize this sounds funny, but it's not. People used to kill themselves when they lost control of their high performance cars that had no "nannies." Count yourself lucky and WADR, learn your car before you overpower the "nannies."

The laws of physics can only be played with so much with technology, and then it's crash time.

See this and ask yourself if you are "feeling lucky today": https://youtu.be/pGjT2rYv1B4 (from Z06 thread---https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/c7-z06-discussion/3882412-z-vs-z-butt-pucker.html)

Because you're behind the wheel of over 400 HP. How is the tread on your tires?

Because the engine puts out more power than the rear tires can handle. Plain and simple.

Default Reading discrepancy

So... I have two very good gauges that I know are very accurate... and I have put 30 psi in each tire. However, the DIC tire monitoring (TPMS) shows 3 pounds less (27). I'm pretty confident that the TPMS is reading consistently low and I can mentally keep track of where I believe pressures are when tires are heated up.

Question to the Forum is.... "Is there a way to easily change (calibrate) the TPMS or DIC so I can get them in-line with what I know are accurate pressures (measured by the gauges)?

If you go to US/english vs. metric (it's been so long since i changed that setting, I forget the actual wordage), it will change Kpa to Psi, but it will also change Kph to Mph, and all the attendant measurements. You can't pick and choose which are in one and which are in the other.

A good hand-held gauge is a must when filling tires; the car (and the read-out on the DIC) doesn't sample often enough to be even a close to reliable measure.

A pound or so between one tire and the others is nothing to worry about, but keep in mind this time of year, temps are falling, so filling up to barely 30# is going to be under inflated tomorrow. You are going to be better served with slightly over-inflated (cold pressure) tires than under.

Actually, that is my experience, all year round, anyway.

I forgot to tell you how you change this.

The right side dash buttons. OPTION, scroll to english or metric, then RESET.

DANG, and it's kPa.
