5 x 7 speakers with good bass
Hello ..
The player is a CD/AM/FM Sony MEX 5100 BT. The speaker size, 4 x 6, was kept purposely small for space installation reasons. I was hoping to get some decent bass out of 4 x 6 speakers. The mega bass feature on the Sony unit wasn't much help.
Is a 5 x 7 speaker large enough to provide decent bass response? .. Is there a preferred name brand? Thanks

With the stock Bose system the base is pretty good! I got subs and 4 speakers and a 5 channel amp and have yet to hear it. For what its worth, the stock Bose system was the best I've heard in any stock car...
